Super Secret Engagement

I can’t lie, I struggle with secrets. But this time I managed to stay quiet! I was enlisted to help capture an engagement. This meant I had to concoct a plan or a reason to be by myself in a park when my lovely couple wandered passed my path.

Fear not! I enlisted a partner that would pose as my portrait client so I could go unnoticed…ish. I found the perfect spot and tested my client a picture and description so he would know where to go. Then we waited for the couple to arrive. I was filled with as much excitement as my client. I even practiced the instructions I would give to my pretend client to ensure the happy couple had the private, experience the deserved.

Then they arrived! The adrenalin was flowing and I was working. The closer they got to the mark the more my heart was racing. This was it, the moment he has been planning for months. The biggest event of their lives and I could not fail them.

I have had the honor of photographing a lot of wedding, but this was one of the most special experiences of my life. Thank you for letting me be part of it!
