Would I Lie?

ree

My goal is for every client to be 100% satisfied with the experience from beginning to end; talking about the session, shooting the images, selecting the favorites, ordering, and seeing the images for the first time. That said one of the most common questions I get as a photographer is why do I have to do that I feel stupid.

ree

The answer is yes! I kid…well most of the time it is yes you have to. I personally torment my clients with the adage if you are too comfortable I am doing it wrong. Of course, I say this tongue and cheek but there is a little truth to it especially with bridal portrait, senior portraits, and anything where a dad is concerned.

So have you ever taken a picture and you were totally sure you looked spot-on amazing then looked at the image and it was trash? Yeah, that is what I try and avoid. It may feel odd to have your back shoulder turned towards me but it sure makes your curves look fancy. It could be odd to stand with your feet positioned like you were a dancer, but your legs look smoken. And it may be natural to put your arm on top of your partners shoulder, but you don’t want to look like you are chilling at a bar…unless of course, we are chilling at a bar.

No clients were harmed in the creating of these images.
